The focus of the development of airport economy is to develop and construct the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base, Supporting Industry Zone for FedEx Asia-Pacific Express Hub, Airport Business District, and Guangzhou Airport International Logistics Zone. The appropriate scope is as follows: at Huashan and Huadong, the North of Huadu Avenue, the focus of development is to develop the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base—to develop the eastern group part of the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base at the east of Dawang Mountains, to develop the middle group part of the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base at the west of Dawang Mountains and east of Yongxing Road, to develop the western group part of the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base at Huashan town, taking Overseas Chinese Science and Technology Garden as the core; at the north of airport (namely, the north and south of Huadu Avenue),mainly develop the Supporting Industry Zone for FedEx Asia-Pacific Express Hub; to develop the Airport Business District at the two sides of Qingbu section of Yingbin Avenue. The Guangzhou Huadu Airport Economy Management Commission is directly responsible for the development of the middle group part of the Airport New and High Technology Industry Base, Supporting Industry Zone for FedEx Asia-Pacific Express Hub, Airport Business District and Guangzhou Airport International Logistics Zone.
