Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd., a joint venture between Shenzhen Huiren Investment Co., Ltd, Air China Limited, Quanchen (Shenzhen) Logistics Company and Yi Yang Group, is mainly engaged in air transportation of passenger, cargo, and mail. Shenzhen Airlines Guangzhou Branch saw its first flight on 17th September, 2004, and was officially set up in March 2005. Presently, it is operating12 domestic routes with 4 Boeing 737 aircrafts, achieving 154 flights per week. According to the "11th Five-Year Plan," Shenzhen Airlines Guangzhou Branch will speed up its Development, and is estimated to have more than 40 aircrafts by 2010.
