FedEx Express, a subsidiary of FedEx Corp, plays a dominant role in the corporation's express services.

FedEx Asia-Pacific Express Hub, located to the east of airport's eastern runways, occupies an area of 1.8 square kilometers, with a total investment of 370 million USD.

This project is an International Express Hub, whose main function is sorting, featuring in express transfer. It is designed to have a daily parcel throughput of 179 thousand by 2020, and a daily average sorting capacity of 125 thousand parcels, with a highest sorting capacity of 27 thousand parcels per hour. The construction of this project will accelerate the process of building Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport into a large-scale hub airport, lay foundation for the airport to become an international cargo transportation hub, and improve the competitiveness of Baiyun Airport in becoming a compound hub airport in Asia-Pacific region.

13th July, 2005, FedEx Asia-Pacific Express Hub was officially settled in the Huadu Airport Bonded Zone for Processing and Logistics. It is planned to be put into operation in 2008.
